Working closely together, we helped Zown make fundamental choices in their proposition and translated this into an appealing corporate identity within 5 weeks.

Zown is the latest initiative of Alliander, bringing ‘microgrid’ energy platforms to businesses by offering advice, realization and maintenance. Zown make it easy for you to navigate all the possibilities to create your own grid configuration , letting your business benefit from cheaper, more reliable and sustainable energy.

Preparation for a successful launch

Bringing radical innovation to mainstream markets is challenging. Self-sufficient energy platforms may be game-changing for businesses – but they are difficult for them to understand, explain to their stakeholders, and make choices. First and foremost, few people even realize that setting up their own microgrid is an option. In defining the proposition, we sharpened Zown’s communication and positioning to prepare it for a successful market launch. We simultaneously took this strategy and created a compelling identity that intrinsically told the Zown story of energy autonomy through clever design.

Fun-filled workshops

We supported Zown in aligning the team on their strategic objectives and proposition, getting to the essence in fun-filled workshops. At each step we made strategy tangible by visualizing insights and building the identity side by-side with the client.
